Custom Shop P-UP’s out of a Limited Edition Sonic Blue Relic John Cruz Stratocaster.
Guitar set up with GHS 11 1/2 gauge strings tuned down 1/2 step by Rene Martinez.
Guitar case purchased in Harker Heights Texas mid 90’s.
Stamped within a month of Stevie’s neck. Repaired headstock. Refret and set up by Renee Martinez. This is as close as you get to the real deal.
Tim Davis’s SRV guitar’s are outstanding. One was displayed in the Stevie Ray Vaughan Museum exhibition in Dallas! Countless people have seen the guitar and thought it was actually Number One. I chose to Relic the SRV as appeared in Austin City Limits. Just to give you an idea the price tag for the Relic job was $3000 a few years ago.
The guitar alone before the Relic job, re- fret, and custom shop pick-ups was $8500.
