1996 Jackson Performer up for grabs. Made in Japan with excellent quality and craftsmanship. This guitar looks, sounds, and plays great. The Jackson Kelly Performers are well known for their sound, playability, and great look. These are very sought after and becoming much more rare to come by.
Brand new strings are on it for fresh sound and feel.
Serial number 9660804.
The frets are in great shape. They are polished clean and shine like new, and show very little fretwear if any at all.
It has a Jackson brand Licensed Floyd Rose Locking Tremolo System, and it includes the Tremolo Arm. It feels and functions great.
The backplate on this has been upgraded to a mirrored style backplate. In my humble opinion this is a great look for this guitar.
The guitar has great tone. The pickups in this sound excellent and are designed to be the most convenient to use. 2 humbuckers are controlled by a 3 way switch (to turn on either one or both at the same time), all controlled by a single volume knob. No tone knob, no nonsense.
It's in good shape, and it plays and functions perfectly. There are some visual blemishes on the guitar that you would expect from a 1990s era guitar. (a few scratches and dings), but nothing that affects the overall performance. There is some wear to the back of the Jackson tuners on the headstock. There is a little oxidation on the pickups as well but not much. A couple of the dings on the body have been painted over, including one that's right near the backplate (see pictures). They are only visual, and do not affect how the guitar sounds or plays at all. In my humble opinion these only add character as a tried and true instrument.
Case sold seperately.
