Additional options are available, please select "make an offer" before purchase if you'd like to include specifications or material choices you do not see here. I can customize a wide variety of options not listed here at additional cost; such as pickups, neck dimensions, unique woods and other practical or decorative desires you may have.

Because I am a one-man shop, certain specifications like; intricate inlays, binding, and/or custom design hours are exceptionally costly for various reasons and will extend your production time significantly. Please message me if you have any questions about custom options. I think you will be surprised at the possible customizations I can add for you at a reasonable price that will not add to production time and turn out great.

Dan Wolf Guitars is a one man custom shop, based in Denver, Colorado. I build around 50-70 guitars each year by hand with individual attention to detail given to every guitar. All guitars are finished with high quality nitro lacquer and premium hardware, CTS pots, Switchcraft jacks, Orange Caps, vintage pull back wire, etc. I offer a lifetime guarantee on all my instruments, if you have any problem with your guitar build while you own it, please feel free to reach out so I can happily rectify your guitar's situation for you.

Alder body profile is either CNC cut or hand cut then hand routed and fit to a handpicked neck. After Pre-Fit/assembly I sand and prep the body by hand. I then apply the minimum amount of primer, color and clear to seal the guitar and protect it from moisture, while still allowing to level and polish to a nice gloss or satin. This allows me to deliver a nice finish quickly. Because I use Nitrocellulose Lacquer I do not do"Brand New Factory Finish", however we can certainly do "Closet Classic" amounts of absolute minimal relicing. Most customers will send me a picture of the colors and amount of relicing they desire and I will match that. By default I do lacquer checking, greying, patina of metal hardware and loss of gloss on pickguard in realistic locations; if you want something specific with these, or any of these details of the finish just let me know.

25.5" scale Neck with Maple fingerboard and leveled frets with a 9.5" radius . Super smooth back of neck with a glossy headstock. Fret ends are rounded and fretboard edges slightly rolled, very comfortable neck. The profile is modern C with a thinner profile ~.85" to .89".

Let me know if you'd like another pickup combination besides the default; Alnico 5 Handwound DWG Jazzmaster in the neck and bridge. Pickup resistance is 10.5K in the bridge and 8.2K in the Neck. Slightly Hot set that when combined with the treble bleed can also achieve the more vintage Jazzmaster tones.

Switchcraft output and toggle. CTS pots and cloth wires.  Oversized strap locks. Gotoh Mini 16:1 modern Tuners for ideal tuning stability and a finer control. TusQ nut.

Mastery M1 is the best offset bridge you can buy paired here with a custom oversized Stainless Steel tremolo. My custom tremolo plates are paired with AVRI Stainless Steel Tremolo arm and mount collett, chrome tilt plate and locking feature switch.

What is pictured is a close representation of what you will get and possible color variations at random from past builds. Since this is made to order some minor variations may occur in finish but all parts will be in new and working order and as described here. I tend to use Reranch nitro, but I can accomplish a very wide variety of existing and new custom color schemes.

Returns will be accepted after return shipment is received less any applicable restocking fee, via paypal,  within 14 days. All guitars have a lifetime warranty for defects not including branded hardware (Which have their own respective lifetime warranties).

All upgrades and custom specifications should be worked out prior purchase through the "message seller" or the "make an offer" options. Many customers will elect to add a Hardshell Case or ship me their own case after purchase, additionally we can select a case for you and add it to your purchase here. If you decide to ship without a case, worry not, I pack double boxxed and very secure with full UPS insurance up to 1000 USD.

I am unable to accept partial payments or deposits on custom orders at this time. By purchasing this listing, you will Pre-Order and pay for your guitar in full, based upon the outlined specs and reference images included as part of the listing description. All Pre-Orders feature a standard 13-16 week overall build time we can keep you informed as your build is progressing and we will notify you as soon as your guitar is ready to ship with your tracking/shipment information. Each model is made to-order, wood grain and finishes etc. may have slight variation.
