2009 Gibson J-45 True Vintage - Antique Vintage Sunburst

2009 Gibson J-45 True Vintage acoustic with added LR Baggs Lyric under-saddle pickup. Adirondack red spruce top with Honduras Mahogany back and sides. Antique Vintage Sunburst finish, Madagascar Rosewood fingerboard and bridge, MOP dot inlays, made in 2009 in Montana US. Original paperwork included.

You may notice some slight differences in this particular J-45 TV to the regular production model. The Orange label in the sound-hole simply says J-45 (not J-45 TV) it has single White button Tuners (instead of 3 on a strip) the case is Black with Blue interior ( instead of Brown with pink interior) and there is a Custom Shop decal on the back of the headstock. I have a number of emails from Marcelo Pineda in Gibson customer service regarding these differences. He has confirmed that this is most definitely a J-45 True vintage in Antique Vintage Sunburst and was made using hide glue. (emails can be forwarded on request) The full Gibson model code is RS4GCAVSNH1. (RS for Red Spruce, GC for Guitar Center, AVS for Antique Vintage Sunburst) This acoustic was made for Guitar Center as an exclusive order, but later it was also produced for different dealers.

The reason I mention the above is because there is much talk in online acoustic forums about certain 2009 J45 TV acoustics without the TV designation, Black case and single White button Tuners (instead of 3 on a strip) the original paperwork is included in the sale and also the original packing slip which says J-45 TV Red Spruce GC.

This Acoustic is in fine condition with very little wear and tear. The frets are in great shape. The only things of any note are a scratch in the front of the headstock finish running of the left hand side and some lacquer checking/wear, top left shoulder on the back of the body. It's been fully set up and it plays and sounds fantastic.
