  For sale is a 1990's Besson Sovereign 981 Professional Compensating EEb Tuba. Besson makes the best compensating tubas in the world. Their consistent attention to detail yields a tuba with a clear open voice superior intonation and excellent valve action and ergonomics. This tuba has been cleaned and polished, as well as slides greased and valves oiled. The valves are outstanding and this horn is ready to take to band. The compensating tubas are superb brass band instruments and offer unerring intonation in all registers.
  Includes the original Besson hard case along with a canvas and leather Glenn Kronkhite soft case. 2 mouthpieces are included as well, 1 by Conn and the other by Denis Wick.
