I bought this T-40 body specifically for this Electrical Guitar Company T-40 neck. I am not sure what year this particular body was manufactured. It was most likely made in the early 80's judging by the blade pickups.

It took two years to take delivery of this neck from the Electrical Guitar Company. They have a long waiting list and they will make you wait.

The pick-guard is an aftermarket WD-Music pickguard. The two selector switches are made by Tyco. They are comparable in quality to the original C&K made switches. The wiring is correct and everything functions as it should.

The body has been professionally refinished.

The bridge and saddles are free from rust and pitting which is common on these guitars.

People say these necks have a piano-like tone, which sounds like nonsense - until you play one. If you're curious about how an aluminum neck sounds, that's how I would describe it.

Action is low. 1.75mm on the bass side and progressively lower from A to G.

Tuned to E standard with new Ernie Ball strings.

The intonation is perfect.

This is a maintenance free guitar. There is no truss rod.

Will ship for free in non-original hard-shell case.

Thank you.
