About This Listing
1964 Gibson Firebird I. An excellent example of the highly sought after Firebird I as played by Stephen Stills and Eric Clapton during the Cream years! Very good condition with moderate vintage finish wear and no break, cracks or repairs. Old social security number etched on the headstock, replaced bridge, replaced knobs and currently fitted with a Seymour Duncan pickup. The original wrap-around bridge and original pickup are included. Plays great and has been and re-fretted for improved playability. These Firebird I’s are similar to LP Juniors in feel and are perfectly simple with no frills; just a solid guitar and killer tone from the single bridge pickup! Includes modern Gibson Firebird case.
