Custom T-Style Build - Bubinga / Sapele / Mahogany / Rosewood

I wanted to build a high end tele for the cost of a USA made standard and did that with this.

The body is from Spaltking in Quebec, highly and uniquely figured Bubinga top, ribbon striped sapele body. This is finished with a high sheen oil applied in many coats over many weeks. There are three coats in the base that was left to harden over three weeks and additional 5 coats applied over that in 2-3 week intervals. Finish has been completed for over a year and it completely cured.

Neck is from Northern Fish in western Canada. Rosewood fretboard on a mahogany neck finished in nitro lacquer, no sticky feeling poly on this one. 21 jumbo stainless steel frets with classic Tele headstock look. Double Action Truss Rod. 56. mm (2.20472) inch wide guitar heel with a modern C profile. 12 radius, 1 11/16 th nut bone wide at nut. Double Action Truss rod.

Pickups are Dimarzio Fasttrack T hum bucker in the bridge and hand wound VanZandt single coil in the neck.

Lush overtones, warm toned guitar. Factory spec setup, responsive truss rod, hardtail. CTS pots. Standard tele wiring: bridge, both, neck.

This is a beautiful guitar that plays more like a long scale LP than a tele. This can do jazz to metal really well. Don’t let Dimarzio rail pup fool you, it is a humbucker and has that punch.

Comes with a brand new black Gator flight case. This guitar has never been gigged, has never left the house.
