Overview

The Kingman was part of the Fender's attempt to break into the acoustic market in the mid-'60s. Like the rest of Fender's acoustics in this era, the model never really caught on with players and only lasted until 1971. While the standard model was made with mahogany, it can also be found with maple, Brazilian rosewood, Indian rosewood, zebrawood, or vermilion back and sides. This guitar was produced as part of the Wildwood series, known also as the Wildwood Acoustic.

Years of Production:
1966 - 1971

Design Elements: Block inlays, bolt-on neck, yellow pickguard
