I've gone back and forth on selling this and ended it for a bit, but am relisting for now...

This is an exquisite example of the Beekay model from Daddy Mojo instruments - so much so that pictures of this very instrument are featured on their newly revamped website and in pictures of the Beekay model. It is a very versatile guitar with a plethora of tonal options, featuring Mojotone dual foil pickups that can be independently split or tapped for 15 possible pickup combinations. This one has the full tuxedo look, with brushed black finish and white appointments. The guitar has been used, but is in very good condition. It has a small repaired crack on the bass side of the neck near the nut. There is also some light scratching on the top that can only be seen at certain angles and one small indentation in the back of the neck near the nut that is not discernable by touch. The guitar comes with a hard shell Gator case and will be well-packed for shipping.

Here are the original notes regarding this guitar:

From the amazing and beautiful lightly applied hand brushed black finish that is sure to turn some heads, to its incredibly resonant tap tuned and highly chambered Spanish Cedar body (a wood more closely related to Mahogany rather than Cedar but light weight) The BeeKay is in a class all its own. Jazz, Blues, Rock, Country and all forms of experimental music sound incredible played on this BeeKay. The guitar can easily be mistaken in tone and volume acoustically, for a non carved Arch-Top guitar when used unplugged. The harmonics are extraordinarily rich and the guitar has a very pleasing, woody tone unplugged that transfers perfectly to its unique voice when plugged in. You will be left speechless after feeling and hearing the quality of this high-end instrument. The instrument is set up to perfection with a nice low action 4 64ths E to E, though the guitar can easily be used with a slide and sounds big and thumpy when finger-picking! This guitar can do it all!

From Lenny, the man behind Daddy Mojo.

"The BeeKay is inspired by our love for such legendary players as Howling Wolf, T-bone Walker and the instruments favored by like minded players of the jump blues and electric blues guitar era. An extensively chambered Spanish cedar body with a Canadian maple top insure a light weight instrument with surprising acoustic projection. Hand carved Mahogany neck."
