Available is a very customized Waterslide Offset. This guitar features an Aged Black all Nitro finish with a leopard celluloid pickguard and Mojo UK Decosonic Pickups. To top it off this build also features the most responsive offset vibrato unit on the market today, the Descendant Vibrato by Swope Guitars. This unit incorporates notches in the base-plate, where the strings go below the unit for ultimate downward pressure and the perfect break-angle for an offset guitar; where a shallow breaks angle at the bridge has always been an issue.
The Decosonic Pickups are a unique blend of vintage Fullerton style twang (think JM or Tele) mixed with the high fidelity of a Dynasonic Pickup, found in many early Gretsch and Guild guitars of the 50's such as the Gretsch Duo Jet, White Falcon & Guild Duane Eddy model. They are crystal clear with lots of bite and snap, with a unique lapsteel like quality in the bridge position but fatter. Some of the best pups we've played in a Waterslide to date.
The chunky full C neck profile mixed with a 12" radius makes this instrument a joy to play both flat picked or fingerstyle due to the wider 1 11/16" nut width. The guitar has some beautiful handmade celluloid appointments and a very responsive offset Descendant vibrato, paired with a steel saddle Staytrem bridge.
If you're looking for a familiar offset style instrument with tons of unique mojo, it doesn't get much cooler and inspiring then this new offering from Waterslide Guitars in CA. See official demo video below.
