About This Listing

This is a true “Closet Find” and a rare and beautiful piece of guitar history. This was one of the first Epiphone Archtops that came out of Gibson Kalamazoo Michigan factory after Gibson purchased The Epiphone name, and you would be very hard pressed to find an earlier one in better shape than this one!

This has never had a neck reset, it has no body warping or cracking and all parts are absolutely original. Even the frets and fretboard are in incredible condition for its age with no pitting, dipping or fingernail gouges. And the action is probably exactly how it was straight from the factory.

Beautiful craftsmanship throughout this instrument. As soon as you pick it up you can tell this is no mail order vintage Archtop. It’s heavy and sounds big and sweet!
Obviously it has some scratches and slight signs of wear which are all shown in photos but for the age and style it is gorgeous.

Own this beautiful and rare piece of American history before it is gone! It won’t last long!
