About This Listing

Regal soprano ukulele made of solid woods (birch?). I've seen similar Regal ukes listed as being from the 1930s and 1950s so I decided to compromise and say this is from the 1940s. Suffice to say it is a vintage American made ukulele. It's in very good condition with a great looking petina, few noticeable scratches, small nicks, and one worn spot on the fingerboard. The neck is straight with no fret wear, and there are no separations, warps, or cracks. (I did re-glued a couple spots where the back became separated from the sides due to shrinkage.) I removed the bridge, sanded it down, and re-glued it to insure low action, installed new GHS strings, and filed down the nut slots to insure low action at the nut. The uke plays flawlessly and sounds very full. I am including a hard violin case that fits it very well although a little foam padding would make it more snug. Own a cool piece of history. $140 plus $25 shipping.
