Using the designs of master luthier Mass Hirade, Takamine offers an exceptional classical guitar in the Hirade H5 nylon-string acoustic guitar. Hirade joined Takamine in 1968, and made great improvements upon design and build quality, and set forth with his staff to energize and strengthen the business. The factory began producing their world class classical guitars that to this day still carries the Hirade name. Through his dedication and commitment to Takamine, Hirade was able to begin an overseas trading business in 1975. Takamine Guitars was able to reach out to guitar players around the world. Takamine was finally placed in the hands of musicians who had only heard about their great sound and fine craftsmanship.

The Takamine Hirade H5 concert classic guitar is crafted using Mass Hirade's original drawings. Takamine classics features a solid cedar top with solid rosewood backs and sides for a brilliant and rich classic tone. The braces are patterned and voiced for today's music.

This Takamine guitar features the classical platform, with a body depth and width providing the optimal sound to let the nylon strings project to their fullest. The solid cedar top with the solid rosewood back and sides produce the ideal punchy sound that responds well to the amount of pressure and drive you apply to your playing. Whether you're performing complex classical movements or dancing over the strings on a searing flamenco rhythm, the Takamine H5 acoustic guitar sounds superb.

The Takamine acoustic guitar's dovetail neck joint ensures the dedicated tone swelling from this instrument, eliminating any drop-off. The beautiful and highly desired mahogany asymmetrical neck, rosewood bridge, and ebony fretboard present clear tone and lasting sustain.

Dressed in a gloss finish and featuring luxurious gold tuners and hardware, this will be the envy of all who see and hear it. The Takamine H5 guitar is a testament to the impeccable craftsmanship of Hirade, and shows the continuing Takamine tradition of providing some of the finest guitars available today.
