The Liger was created by LeLe Ukuleles, the first company to create a professional quality ukulele with a built in amplifier and speaker. A one of a kind instrument born and raised in Hawaii, nurtured on the sacred slopes of Hualalai volcano. Named the Liger because of it’s powerful hybrid nature, the Liger sparkles with authentic presence and exquisite tone, yet is so much louder than most any uke your likely to lay your hands on, and also can play with distortion, feedback and rock'n'roll. Also, because the Liger ukulele has a built-in amplifier it can interact with the natural acoustics of the ukulele to achieve a singularly robust responsiveness, sustain and playability.
