Very recent Fox Model 300 professional oboe. S/n 287XX, 2010. Exceptional condition: no plating wear, no cracks or chips, no scratches on the bore, pads are all very new. Just shop adjusted, but note that oboes hate delivery trucks, airplanes, and hot weather, and almost always need very minor tweaking after shipping. Key of C, pitch A-440. High-quality plastic resin, hand-reamed and finished. Full conservatory system, nickel silver keys with 18% nickel silver hinge tubing and heavy silver-plating. Teflon-tipped stainless steel adjusting screws. Silver-plated posts, bands, and bell ring. Includes a very nice silk swab, reed case, and three reeds. Note that cork grease can’t be shipped in the mail, but if you want the little tub, I can empty it out for you and send it. Comes in a hard case with case cover and strap. Unlike most of the 300’s you’ll find on line, this one does include the third octave key, Bb vent, and F# key tab which are so often missing on the others. The perfect oboe for advanced musicians, or as a backup to your Rigoutat. MSRP $6,585, currently sells at WWBW for $5,840.
