Here's a powerful and tuneful hand-wired tube amp in an attractive, vintage case, repurposed from a Bogen DB114. Featuring EZ81 tube rectification, two 12AX7 preamp tubes and a pair of vintage "Bogen" branded 6V6GT tubes, this amp easily clears 13 watts of clean power into 4-, 8-, or 16-ohm loads.
Monkeymatic's Lassen series is based on tweed style amps, with a simple tone control, carefully tailored low end to reduce flub, and a power section that's willing and ready to growl when turned up.
