This lightweight (6 lbs) folk harp is ideal for beginners, travelers, harp classes, music clinicians, and music therapists.
- The curved frame holds 22 strings ( 3 octaves) with the lowest string = G below middle C.
- The strings are spaced the standard 9/16" apart.
- The soundbox is made of durable corrugated cardboard. Please specify blue, green, red, purple, or unpainted soundbox.
Using a cardboard soundbox reduces cost and weight without sacrificing tone and volume. In normal use it will last a lifetime, but is easily replaced if tragedy befalls it. The quality of the sound may surprise you- unless you have taken apart a stereo speaker and observed that the sound is amplified by a cone of cardboard activated by an electromagnet.
