This McSpadden FM12-W Hourglass Mountain Dulcimer model made of solid walnut with 4 strings of 28 ½” vibrating string length in its hard case is in EXCELLENT condition. The only flaw is one scratch on the side which doesn't penetrate the finish and is noticeable only upon very close scrutiny. Made in 1986 in Mountain View, Arkansas and signed by LYNN MCSPADDEN. Numbered 14,078. The instrument features Grover machine tuners and is constructed from solid highly figured walnut. This McSpadden dulcimer has obviously sweetened with age and it sounds wonderful!
