KALEIDOLOOP is a mobile, battery operated sampler that was designed to be able to collect samples EVERYWHERE and to manipulate all kinds of sound material. Record sounds in the kitchen, in the practice room or train station … ANYWHERE!

The sounds are recorded with a special, electronically amplified microphone, which gives the recordings of the KALEIDOLOOP a very special character. Combine multiple KALEIDOLOOPS to produce layered sounds, play the sounds from one to the other and then explore and play with the resonances, invent new musicality, practice speaking backwards, change the playback speed to discover the new harmonic proportions, carry the sound generator/sound source through the space during the recording and experience the phase changes … the list is endless.

KALEIDOLOOP saves all recordings; the sounds you create are saved onto an SD card throughout your tonal journey, so that they can be edited later in the Studio.

The KALEIDOLOOP offers simple control possibilities for recording, sound navigation, playback tempo and reverse playback. The integrated microphone and the powerful, internal speakers create the perfect team with which you can be load and assertive. Audio signals can also be recorded via the 6.3mm mono jack socket. (The microphone is then simply unplugged and the signal source is connected to this socket) The same is true for the output.
