2020 Hifiman HE-1000 SE Audiophile Headphone

Currently going for $3499. New, but will let them go for  $2400 which are fantastic audiophile headset.

The headphone is based on technology from the $6000 Hifiman Susvara, with unique magnets, and thin film.  The headphone lightweight (444 grams), swivel at the arm, and the suspension headband make it very comfortable.   One big improvement over Susvara is the 3.5 mm vs 2.5 mm connectors in Headphone cups.  

It sounds great with Macbook Pro or IPAD, but even better on a headphone amp like a UA Apollo, or SPL Phonitor Xe or X. 

New to the HE1000se are neodymium magnets that increase efficiency and lower distortion for true purity of sound. Neodymium, widely recognized for providing incomparable magnetic strength in a compact size, providing a consistently exceptional output that is equal to larger and heavier ferrite magnets. With neodymium, the new model’s driver is faster and more dynamic, presenting every sonic detail for a more compelling performance.
