Vintage Blessing Artist Cornet w/ Original Case

This Blessing Artist cornet is in nice playable condition and is fully functional as-is. Pictures tell the story on it and it has a lot of previous wear. The lacquer is mostly all worn and what is left is flaky; the raw brass has acquired a nice patina. There are some minor dents as shown, a very repaired bell with a lot of scarring and lacquer loss to boot. All slides are free and the valves are smooth and quick; new felt / cork on the valves and compression is pretty good, age considered, though it would certainly benefit from a thicker oil. The biggest issue is a very small crack in the bell (pic 11), though it could be patched, or perhaps even touched with solder. The bell engraving is somewhat legible, but certainly not too crisp due to the bell repairs and aging. The original case is included and it is in fully usable condition, but has wear from general use (including a vintage musk). One of the three bottom caps is not original, but fits nicely w/o any issues.

Horn plays great as you'd expect from this model. The only thing truly sad about the horn is that it isn't a Super Artist of similar age.
