Legendary Vintage Bently Series 10 "P" Bass Guitar, 1990s, Metallic Gray

You've heard the legends, well here it is in person: a VINTAGE Bently "Series 10" Bass Guitar from the 1980s! If you DO NOT know what I'm talking about, it's time to study up! lol
     Back story on this Bass guitar: I was in St. Augustine, Florida over the Winter, and as usual, I was poking around looking for instruments to buy. Ran into a guy named "TATER" (swear to God! lol). Tater had a sad story about his daughter being ill and that he needed money to help her out. And, though it broke his heart, he had to part with his old Series 10 Bass guitar. When I finally saw the instrument it was a husk (body, neck, tuners, string tree, bridge) AND, Tater, being a auto body guy, had given it a automotive paintjob with a metallic gray paint fit for a Cadillac! (and if you don't know the difference between the original polyurethane finish the Series 10s had and this new automotive lacquer finish, then it's time to do MORE research! lol). I took the Bass and needed to add a loaded pickguard and strings. Now I'm offering it to you to own a piece of Guitar history.

All of my guitars have been fully tested and are functional. All of my guitars have been “set up”: neck straightness adjusted when possible, fingerboard oil treated (if rosewood/laurel), action set, pickup height optimized, intonation checked, to MY PERSONAL PREFERENCES. Please note: “setups” are not “one size fits all”. Your personal set up requirements might be different from mine, so, additional adjustments may be needed to suit your setup preferences. Also, for optimal sound and playing ease, I always advise buyers to put a new set of strings on the guitar, the string brand and gauge of their preference. To protect the guitar from damage, string tension will be relieved before shipping per Reverb.com requirements. You will need to tune the guitar to pitch when it arrives.
