About This Listing
This is a very clean sounding amp that is an exceptional pedal platform. You have the ability to plug right into the top of the amp and bypass the preamps if you so desire. The clean channel "really" clean with thick bottom end. Channel 2 evolved from a dirty gritty sound that compresses nicely all of the way to full saturation.
50 watts is plenty of power to keep up with friends, and perfect for any practice space. If you are a teacher, this would also be great as a 2nd student amp as the controls are simple to use, and easily accessible.
Hughes & Kettner has a long history of great sounding amps. This is no exception to that earned reputation. The circuit is very very quiet.
As noted, this is the GERMAN made version. After this model, production was moved to China, and renamed the Blue Edition.
