About This Listing

     Here's a 31" long mandola with a fairly long 19.5" scale

I've put on a new adjustable bridge, leveled and polished the frets, and installed a single coil pickup with volume and tone controls. The string height at the 12th fret is set at 1/8" bass side - 3/32" treble side, and it plays well there up and down the fingerboard.

Tuned to play in standard CGDA, the string pairings are:

44-44  26-26  15-15  10-10

-- If you've ever given up on an octave mandolin this one is a lot easier to handle - especially the bass pair. If you already play tenor guitar then you'd probably love this one.

2019 model labeled Harmonia - made in China and the body is all laminate construction - spruce top - walnut back and sides - rosewood fretboard and bridge.  It's a budget instrument but it does not sound or play like one - plenty of volume - and a sustain that just goes on and on at the end of a note.
