About This Listing

I have killer, one of a kind Jackson MIJ Dinky finished in a breath taking silver leaf blue fade finish. The pictures actually don't do it justice. it's kinda hard to get the same lighting across all the different pictures, but I did my best.

Here's the details on this one, and I'm hesitant to even sell it (so if I don't, I'm totally cool with that- can still be eye candy for guitar fans out there), but I have many guitars piling up, I feel like - even if I'm meant to be it's true owner - there may be someone else out there that I actually refinished this for- just need to check.

Purchased from ebay or Reverb, not sure which. I'm always doing a number of refinishes on guitar projects throughout the year (swirls, flake and leaf mostly).  This one was destined for a swirl but had recently done some gold, silver and copper leaf finishes that were really well received. I really like the fade finishes and though that the blue fade over the silver leaf would make it look like the Caribbean frozen over. It does have this super cool, icy look to it. The nature of the silver leaf gives it this texture and randomness to the finish. cleared with  2 part poly for a super smooth glossy finish. It really is unique, and one of the high quality MIJ (made in Japan) models.

This guitar is really clean, The guitar had some emg hz pups in and I really wanted something that sounded better and looked better. I stumbled across this USA pickup maker by the name of “Bootstrap” pickups (on a tele forum of all paces). They are hand wound in Ohio and I think are fantastic. So I order a pair of their Bootstrap Buckers- Serranos - with the chrome covers to give it that extra cool look. Regardless if you’re interested in the guitar or not…you may want to check out this pup maker while they are still so amazing reasonably priced.

Guitar sounds great, thick tone, low action, straight neck, no cracks. Set up with a new pair of 10's. Frets are amazing- whomever played it, had a light touch. Neck has been conditioned and frets polished. The inlays on this are really nice, matches the finish really well. Simply put, the guitar is killer. The pictures tell the story, but feel free to ask any questions.

Seeing that it is used, with enough scrutiny, you may find some faint wear or marks here or there. Please, check my feedback. Most people dig my stuff because it looks and feels custom shop and they always tell me it's better than expected and I’m amazingly humbled by that.

Contact me with questions. It comes with a hard shell case as seen in the picture.   I only ship Continental US.
