The Guild GAD-50 has the world's most popular acoustic body shape, one that has been used for more than 70 years. Here are the basics: a solid Indian rosewood back and sides, a solid spruce top with scalloped bracing and a one-piece mahogany neck with traditional dovetail neck joint for superior tone transfer and excellent structural stability. Other features include an Indian rosewood fingerboard and bridge, ebony pearl dot-inlaid bridge pins and strap buttons, classic pearl fingerboard inlays, real mahogany wood binding, bone nut and bone compensated saddle for better tone/sound transfer and genuine Grover Rotomatic tuners.  The name "Guild" is inlaid on the headstock in mother-of-pearl. There’s a poly finish that looks good and is very durable.

Beyond the basics, my guitar features the extra-cost ‘antique burst’ front finish and a professionally installed Fishman Matrix under-saddle pickup with end-pin jack, which sounds great plugged in and offers nearly invisible controls inside the sound hole for you purists that don’t want an extra hole in the side of your guitar. I’ve also installed a second strap button near the neck joint and I’m including the custom vintage-look Guild tweed wooden arched guitar case.

Most importantly, she sounds and feels like the real deal; big and solid, making your chest resonate when you hit a “G” chord. She’s articulate throughout her range and sounds fantastic, whether strumming or fingerpicking.

The guitar and the case are completely flawless and would easily pass for brand new. I have the luxury of having many guitars to play, so this one didn’t get much use, hence the reason for selling. The original retail price (msrp) was 1,579.99, with a “street price” usually around $1195. I’m asking only $695 for mine - and you can NOT tell it from new!  I'm willing to consider intelligent offers, just don't be stupid.....
