Alembic Distillate Bass was newly designed and released for Japan in the 1980s. It adopts a simple control that is easy to handle for one pickup. By dividing the functions into switches, it is easy to switch between sounds during the performance. Although it is easy to handle, there are Alembic, MELLOW FILTER Switch, BASS CUT Switch, and the sound you get when you use the FILTER or TONE Selector Switch linked to FREQUENCY CONTROL as a FILTER Position is exactly the Alembic sound.
The body of the zebra wood top / mahogany back, the neck / head that has been laminated in many layers, the logo mark proudly afflasted on the head, it is a base like a craft built everywhere.

Maintenance and cleaning by a dedicated repair man upon arrival. Fret-shrading. It changes over time mainly in metal parts. Control panel screw x 1 missing item. A little noise is generated from FREQUENCY CONTROL, but it is left as it is to keep the original degree.
