Bass is in Good condition. It has scratches and nicks. This is a player not a wall hanger. The original single ply white pick guard (included) was replaced with a 3 ply black/red/black. The original control knobs replaced with chrome with black tops. Matches the headstock better.

The Greg Bennett Corsair MCR-1 is a short scale, mini bass designed to offer the superior build quality and tone of the Corsair series but in a compact size perfect for younger players or as a travel bass guitar. Constructed from a mahogany body with bolt-on maple neck and featuring 21-fret walnut fingerboard, P (split coil style) pickup, vintage stopbar tailpiece and diecast tuners the Corsair MCR-1 Mini Bass is the perfect introductory bass guitar for beginners or folks who just love Short Scales.

The headstock is much smaller and angled back.  This offers three benefits. First, the neck becomes much lighter.  Second, the angle produces more string performance.  Thirdly, the small area does not rob energy from the string, diminishing the performance.
