The Hang Gudu is a hand played percussion instrument.
The high quality of Pang®, a composite material developed by PANArt, gives the instrument very good tuning stability as well as protection against corrosion.
PANArt's art of tuning is apparent in the harmonic interplay of the prestressed and tuned vessel with the air resonance in its cavity. The frequency of the air resonance is 155 Hertz (Eb3). This pitch can be altered by hand.
The Hang® Gudu has a height of 19 cm, a diameter of 38 cm and weighs 2.5 kg. It comes well-protected by a natural fiber case with a shoulder strap (made in Germany).
