Two plies of 10-mil film and felt strip gives the Aquarian Deep Vintage II bass drumhead a focused attack without a lot of overtones. This construction also makes it extremely durable for us heavy-footed rockers. If you're going for an old-school sound that's controlled for the studio, the Aquarian Deep Vintage II is where it's at. The Deep Vintage II is super dead and super fat - even more so than Aquarian's Modern Vintage heads.
