Alvarez Yairi series is in a league of its own, being positioned far above the rest of the regular Alvarez catalog. Yairi models are hand-made in Kani City (Gifu Prefecture, Japan), whereas the other series are mostly made in southeast Asia. CY70 is a fully acoustic classical guitar, made for pros and players looking to step their game up. natural (w/combined gloss/satin finish, ivoroid binding, classical rosette, gold hardware) is the only available color option. Main features include rosewood back & sides, solid AA Sitka spruce top, one-piece mahogany neck (classical profile, 12th fret Spanish Hell joint), 19-fret rosewood fingerboard (flat radius, classical frets, side dot inlays, 2.05" bone nut), FST2M (forward-shifted, scalloped X) bracing.
