Originally introduced in the mid-1960s as an alternative to Hofner's popular violin bass, the model is perfect for players looking for the Hofner sound, but not the Beatles look!
It is a short-scale bass, constructed with flame maple top, back, and sides, a three-piece flame maple/beech/flame maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard, and single nickel tuners. It has two Hofner Staple pickups, and Hofner control panel and is strung with Hofner flatwound strings..
This is a B-stock model, with some small dings and minor finish blemishes. It comes with a full Hofner warranty excepting finish issues, a hard Hofner case, Certificate of Authenticity, and lots of case candy.
