Product Overview
The Chet Atkins Super Axe was the final model Chet designed with Gretsch, and featured a thin but large solid body, and the unusual touch of an onboard compression/phaser effects circuit. The Super Axe was also produced in a non-super configuration known as the Atkins Axe, which eschewed the effects circuit in favor of a more traditional control system.
