1942 Gibson Banner J45 FON 7720H
This is a very special player grade banner J45 made by the famous Kalamazoo gals
It absolutely sings with a deep, rich and clear tone
At some point in its life, it was refinished. Judging by the finish checking it is an older refinish. Fortunately this makes it a lot more affordable than a J45 sporting the original sunburst finish. Play it as is or bring it back to its former sunburst glory!
Originality:
-Appears to have been refinished around the pickguard and bridge so they appear original
-Braces appear untouched and in good shape
-Aftermarket tuners
-New bone nut in ‘04 with receipt for the work and original nut in the case
-Frets appear original and in fantastic shape with excellent+++ playability all over the fretboard
There is one crack above the pickguard
Here’s your chance! Fantastic playing, rich sounding, affordable 1942 banner J45
Ships in a Hiscox case. These are so strong you can stand on them!
