Herewith I offer for sale a wonderful sounding Fender F-35, a vintage acoustic guitar handcrafted in Japan from the 1970s.
This Fender is a wonderful dreadnought with excellent build quality from the golden age of Japanese Fender acoustic guitar production. The guitar comes with hand-polished laminated spruce top, beautiful mahogany back and sides and a rosewood bridge.
This was Fender's answer to Martin at the time in an attempt to get more acoustics in Fender's arsenal - Fender may not be well known for acoustic guitars, but the early Japanese are a real force to be reckoned with in terms of sound and workmanship. The infamous F-Series was built from 1971-1982 and the instruments from this series are real diamonds in this acoustic guitar price segment. They are also becoming increasingly rare on the market.
Due to the large surface area, the bridge transfers the string vibration very nicely into the body, resulting in a very voluminous and powerful tone. In addition to strong bass tones, the highs and mids assert themselves well and a typical full dreadnought sound is created, which is ideal for picking, strumming and accompaniment. The beautifully aged spruce top over the years also creates a wonderfully open sound.
This model trumps with classic simplicity: a beautifully aged natural surface with subtle white, slightly yellowed bindings, black pickguard and closed Fender Japan original Martin-style tuners.
The thicker mahogany neck and the comfortable string action (3.5mm on the XII fret low E string) make for great playability. In short: an absolute enrichment for every collector and vintage guitar connoisseur, but also a beautifully recorded instrument for an ambitious beginner.

The instrument is in very good condition despite its 40 years of age. There are, as one would expect at this age, some scratches and scrapes in the surface, but nothing dramatic that would affect the tone or playability (see pictures). The traces are only visible on closer inspection and everything works fine. The tuning pegs are stable and keep the tuning excellent. The body is free of cracks, the neck straight, the frets good.
Before shipping, we adjust the guitar (we are a team of longtime experienced guitar teachers) and put on new Martin strings.
Insured shipping with DHL within Germany for 9.49€ possible or within the EU for 20.99€.
Please look at all photos of the condition before buying and clarify any questions with me in advance! Thank you. :)
