R. Taylor Style 1 Lutz spruce, Brazilian mohogany 2008 natural

R Taylor Guitars was started as a separate company by Bob Taylor to target the boutique guitar market around the early 2000's. Built on the level of Bourgeoisie, Froggy bottom and Goodall, the R Taylor Style 1 is still a sought after model even after the R Taylor brand had been discontinued due to them not being affordable at the time.     
    
Lutz spruce         A naturally occurring hybrid of Sitka and White spruce, Lutz blends the positive characteristics of Sitka and White spruce (and its close cousin, Engelmann spruce) with the robust tonal output of Adirondack spruce.
