For sale is a 2002 Fender Toronado MIM in near mint condition. The Toronado is a rare offset body design with 2 Fender Atomic Humbucker Pickups. It was only made from 98-03, and is highly desireable. It was only made for a few years because Fender enthusiasts don't warm up to new offset body designs and models that stray from the Strat/ Tele path. A few things that make this so unique are the 24.75" Scale Length, common with Gibson but not Fender, The Fender Atomic Humbucker Pickups, The 4 chrome knobs, and of course the offset Jaguar and Jazzmaster style body. Not only is this a rare model, but this one has the rarest finish of this model, orange with pearloid pickguard. Only a few of these were made. Not to be confused with the newer, cheaper reissue, these original Toronados are far superior. This one is near mint condition, I can't find a single ding, crack, chip, etc. If you hold it up under a light, on the back you can see some very feint scratches or swirls, they would probably buff out with rubbing compound. You really have to get up close and inspect the back just to see them. I would give this a 9.5/10. This is a great piece and it looks and plays amazing!
