Bach Stradivarius 65G ML Bore Bb Trumpet with an Andy Taylor Stage 2+ Upgrade
Offered is an AMAZING Custom Bach Stradivarius trumpet. WOW! This horn is a real gem. It features the rarely seen 65G bell (described as having a Big Dark, Teutonic Sound) and a rounded tuning slide. The result is an extremely open, responsive horn that has a sound that is dark and huge. It has to be the most over looked bell profile in Bach's modern line up of bell profiles. The valves are outstanding and this horn plays GREAT!
I am not the original owner but purchased it second hand back in the 80's. Serial number is #59026 placing the manufacture date around 1971.
A Taylor Stage 2+ upgrade on this trumpet includes a heavyweight leadpipe and heavyweight fat finger rings identical to the Taylor London model. Upper and lower heavyweight legs at the tuning slide and a new rounded tuning slide with a Saturn water key. Heavyweight receiver. Finger button inlays are natural Paua shell. This trumpet has been overhauled with new brushed/polished clear lacquer. Valves are buttery smooth, in great condition and and move flawlessly. All slides move freely. No dents.
Purchase includes a Bach/Taylor Stradivarius 65G Bb trumpet, a newly Gold Plated Taylor M mouthpiece and the original Bach case with a key. The case has a brand new leather strap installed.
This instrument is in almost new condition.
