1970s Sekova Solid Body - Teisco - Very Clean - Set Up - Original Case

What we have here is a later 70s Sekova Solid Body made in Korea. We're saying later 70s because many of the Japanese manufacturers were moving their production to Korea at this time and the very cool WPLJ Billy Joel (Tri-State Everyman) Sticker on the case references a 5 night run at MSG in 1980. Glass Houses.

This has guitar has all the characteristics, build quality, parts and tooling of earlier Teisco guitars made in Japan.

When we got this we replaced the pots which were shot and replaced the capacitor with a vintage dime type .05. We addressed one high spot on one fret, polished the frets and set it up with .10s. 

This sounds great and plays about as well as one of these will. It has a truss rod which still works as it should.

Will ship with original case pictured which has  a small tear near the top latch but is otherwise in good usable condition. Oh yeah and the cool PLJ Billy Joel sticker.

All in all a very clean, cool and playable example.
