Hopkins Marquis 17" Archtop

Up for sale is a Hopkins Marquis Archtop.  This is a 17” model with a AAA Lutz Spurce Top and AAA Bigleaf Curly Maple Back and sides.   The guitar is X braced, has a 1.75" nut and a 25" scale.  The guitar also comes with an Ameritage case.
The guitar was purchased in 2009 and is in excellent condition except for finish checking on the top of the guitar (see the last two pictures which show the checking in normal light and in full sun).   In addition, there is also some finish checking on the heal of the neck.
There is a video on Youtube that will give you a good idea of how the guitar sounds.   Search "Red Guitar Hopkins".  The guitar has a traditional archtop sound and is well suited to both lead and rhythm styles of play.  
I prefer local pickup (which allows you to play the guitar before the transaction is final) but, I will ship the guitar to any state in the continental US.    Sorry, no shipping to Alaska, Hawaii or International Locations.
