Greenhouse Effects Drifter Tremolo
With great features comes great size. Well, at least, thatäó»s how it used to be. Greenhouse FX has bucked this trend by giving you a juicy-sounding tricked-out tremolo in a compact box, with more features than tremolos three times its size.
Begin by choosing any one of seven different waveforms from classics like sine and square to more unconventional forms such as reverse sawtooth and a random wave function. After choosing this, dial in your Rate and Depth to your liking.
The center toggle switches between three different modes, with some highly expressive results.
The äóìupäó position is Drift mode, which rises from the set speed to maximum over an interval chosen by you. This interval is chosen by holding down the footswitch and tweaking the Rate control.
The äóìdownäó position is Slide mode, and this ramps up the Depth control over the same interval set with the Time control.
The center position is Save mode, which allows you to save a preset and recall it at any time by switching back to Save mode.
Players are invited to use the Drifter like a Leslie controller, holding down the footswitch to ramp gently and then back down for some truly expressive hands-free action.
