- This upgrade version 05 is the final firmware update issued by Korg for the DW-6000.
- Included will be 2 legitimately new ROM chips to complete the upgrade.
The DW-6000 itself is not for sale. Only the ROM upgrade chips will be supplied here.

- Before purchasing, check which firmware your DW-6000 is running by opening the unit, checking both assigner and generator boards ROM labels; if you see both 840805 and 840905 then you already have the upgrade.
- This upgrade version 05 is serves as a supplemental release, intended to iron out any remaining kinks affecting general stability, bugs and improve performance within the firmware code.
