Korg PolySix Analog Polyphonic Synth KIWI Mod with MIDI

This has the KIWI Mod so you don't have to worry about the issues plaguing other Polysixes. KIWI gives you MIDI and an overhauled board
Pretty confident that this is one of the best Polysixes available on the internet.

This is by far the warmest analog synth I have in a collection of Rolands, Euroracks with many oscillators and filters + Prophet rev2.

I believe it is the VCO that causes the warmness: Check the comparisons on Youtube with the Juno.

The SSM 2044 & 2040 are some of my favorite filters.
Unlike Prophet's Pedal input in the back, where the CV/pedal input is smoothed, this has a direct Filter VCF quarter inch input in the back, which I love using to control the filter with my Eurorack Omnimod and other modulation CV generators. This allows you to have direct control over a real 80s SSM  based filter!!! I first fell in love with the SSM 2040 with the TipTop 2040 filter for Eurorack that was designed to sound like old Prophet 5.  To me, Moog sounds like  a stick of butter, SSM filters sound like a Transformers Robot, and a Diode Filters like the 303 sounds like a Rusty Transformers Robot. 

Really love the leads from Niels Broos / Jameszoo that remind me of this warm, dirty analog beast.
