You are looking at an Invisible Sound guitar small switching A/B box. We originally made these boxes to use here at our studio (Invisible Sound Studios), as the studio houses a large (over 160 and counting) collection of guitar amplifiers. People liked them so much that we are offering them for sale.
The box functionally is an A B switcher that you can use in at least 3 different ways, but the most unusual (and coolest) thing is that it uses an amplifier jewel light as the indicator for the selected output!!! These are the same jewel indicators that have been used on many vintage and modern amps throughout the years. We have developed a way to light these lamps using a standard 2.1 mm tip negative 9vdc power adapter (not supplied), such as boss, ibanez, or many others.  On this model, the lamp lights up green to indicate the A input/output, and changes color to red to indicate the B input/output.
The power supply is only for lighting the jewel lamp - the audio switching is done passively with the physical switch, and it is very quiet. This box is a 'cookies and cream' powder coat color. The jewel VERY bright - you will have no trouble seeing the jewel even on a stage outside in the daylight!   Remember, on this model, the lamp lights up green to indicate the A input/output, and changes color to red to indicate the B input/output.       The box is powder coated for durability and is hand wired with a high quality switch, and Switchcraft brand jacks. It also has a 2.1mm 9vdc jack for a standard tip negative 9 volt supply such as Boss or Ibanez.
This is our standard 'side address' model.  It has a 1/4" jack on the right side (as you look down at the box) that is the 'common' in or out, and two 1/4" jacks on the left side (the top one is the A jack, and the bottom one is the B jack). There is the switch, and then the jewel lamp indicator.

There are many ways to use this box. Here are the 3 most common:

1. Use this with one guitar and 2 amplifiers. Plug your guitar into the common jack (on the right), and plug the A out into one amp, and the B out into the other. When you step on the switch, it will switch the guitar into one or the other amp, and the jewel lamp will light up green to indicate that it is selected. Push the switch, and the signal is routed to the B out, and the jewel lamp lights up red.  By the way, in this mode, the other 'open' amplifier input is sent to ground through a resistor, so that it remains silent and noise free.

2. Use this with 2 guitars and 1 amplifier. Plug each guitar (with separate cables) into the A and B jacks, and plug the common jack into the amplifier. When you step on the switch, it will switch one guitar, then the other into the amp input, muting the other guitar. The lamp lights up green for the first guitar, and red for the other.  This is handy when you want to switch guitars quickly - no more turning off the amp, changing cables, then turning on the amp again - just switch the box, change guitars and go.

3. Use this with 1 guitar, 1 amplifier, and a tuner. Many tuners are awkward to use with an amp and a pedal board, and most do not utilize true bypass. Plug your guitar into the common jack, then come out of the A out and go to your pedals/amplifier, and come out of the B jack into a tuner. Leave the tuner on all of the time. When you switch to the A out, your guitar signal will pass through to the amplifier, and you can play. The jewel lamps lights up green.  When you switch to the B out, the guitar signal will pass through to the tuner and you will tune. The jewel lamp lights up red.  Furthermore, the signal to the amplifier will be muted, and there will be no 'tuning' noise - you can tune silently. Switch back and you are ready for action! This mode can also be used as a mute or 'kill' mode that allows you to change guitars or cables silently.

There are a few other ways that people are using these boxes, and they will look great on stage at your next gig!  You can pickup at our Baltimore studio, or use the shipping option - thanks
