About This Listing

Roland XP-30:
A great late-90s MIDI keyboard synthesizer!

The Roland XP-30, released in 1999, is a 61-key all-purpose 64-voice synthesizer workstation and MIDI controller that can be thought of as an updated and simplified version of the renowned XP-80, which itself was sort of an updated JV-1080.The XP-30 builds upon many awesome aspects of the XP-80, including the great sound engine, a 16MB ROM subtractive PCM sound synthesis with the wonderful 32bit RISC chip (for advanced arranging). The XP-30 is loaded with not only the ton of usable XP-80 patches (basses, pads, strings, leads, percussion, and more), but also features the "Session", "Orchestral", and "Techno" expansion cards preloaded. The XP- 80 was notably used by the Flaming Lips. Unlike the XP-80, the XP-30 does not include an on-board sequencer. If you're looking for an excellent all-around synthesizer with a cool 90s taste, be sure to check out the Roland XP-30.

This keyboard is in very good condition, with minor aging and wear overall (please see photos), including some minor scratches (please see photos). The unit has been thoroughly tested by our professional technician and works perfectly. All keys, all buttons, . And The Display Are Fully Functional
