Major issues are covered by insurance and that is why all packages are fully insured. Many issues are minor and fall under user maintenance. These are things that a buyer of vintage/used electronics should be able to maintain. Tubes often once taken out of the sockets may need to be rearranged to obtain optimal performance in a tube unit. Often tube sockets may need to be cleaned with deoxit when tubes are reinserted. Pots can sometimes be scratchy or develop a flat spot from use. Deoxit is your best solution to resolve a minor issue. Switches sometimes need to be cleaned or adjusted to make better contact.
