Here for sale a very nice rare Philips e88cc  SQ special quality wich seems to have very few use 
This model has large ring  getter and and gold pins . Perfect condition and splendid  getter flash.

Code 7LG   Δ6-3 Is a bit hard to read because of some residue wich seems hard and hard to get rid of especially without damaging the date factory code . please see pics.

Made in the great Mullard Philips factory of Heerlen , in Holland.
One of the best e88cc ever made well renowed for it nice linearity and wide frequency range, superb hifi musicality. Highly sought after by the most regarding audiophiles.
This one is very strong and perfectly balanced , can't be better  for stereo use.
Best phono stage tube too.

The Jackson 648. It is definitely one of my favorite tube testers. While it does not employ a mutual conductance test circuit, it does use an advanced emission circuit that applies separate element voltages to each tube element, and separate load circuits are also used. “These voltages and loads have been carefully selected for each tube to meet most ideally the normal operating condition of the tube.” (Source: 1950 Jackson catalog.)

In my experience, the Jackson circuitry is very effective, and often will surprise you with accuracy that approaches Hickok’s coveted “mutual conductance” test method. ( Source tubesound web site.)
