About This Listing

The quintessential Chet Atkins Nashville guitar. Beautiful Chet Orange, with gold hardware. Original Bigsby tremolo and Gretsch specific Filter-Tron pickups. The Nashville went through a series of changes from their inception in 1954, and in 1964, they sported double cutaway, simulated painted f-holes, zero fret, total of 3 knobs and 3 switches, and vinyl backguard. This plays great and is a sure eyecatcher. The tuning machines and pickguard were upgraded by a same era Country Gentleman and the string mute is missing. Comes with original Gretsch white “cowboy” case.
