This rare Kentucky mandolin is in great playing shape with minimal damages and wear. The oval sound hole offers a sound that is more sustained than that of an f hole mandolin. This style works very well for playing old time music and Celtic music while still maintaining a traditional sound fit for bluegrass and chopped chords. Setup to play. Flat fingerboard. Neck is good and straight w/ low action. GHS Bobby Osbourne strings A260 11/38.
